Payments and currency

How your funds reach Brazil

  1. Deposit with the offer

The deposit is typically 6% to 10% of the property price and is set out in the purchase offer.

  2. Balance as set in the contract

Terms for the remaining payment are set out in the purchase agreement, in English and Portuguese.

  3. Currency exchange with Travelex

The international transfer and currency exchange are handled by Travelex, our partner. B&B never handles client funds.

  4. If you plan to apply for residency

The funds must be your own, of proven foreign origin and registered with the Central Bank.
