Brazilian residency through property investment

Purchasing an urban property of R$ 1 million or more can pave the way to Brazilian residency. A specialist partner firm handles the application, and B&B coordinates it alongside your purchase.

Eligibility

Requirements

During our initial consultation, we review each of these points with you before you commit to anything.

  1. An urban property valued at R$ 1 million or more

The minimum applies to the purchase of an urban property registered in your name.

  2. Your own funds

The purchase funds must be your own and held in your account.

  3. Proven foreign origin

The funds must come from abroad, with documentation proving their origin.

  4. Transfer registered with the Central Bank

The transfer is made through an official foreign exchange transaction, registered with the Central Bank of Brazil.

The decision on each application rests with the Brazilian government; no advisor can guarantee the outcome.
